All important flexible packaging producers of the Middle East were brought together by the organiser International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) in Abu Dhabi to discuss, during three eventful days, the present trends and developments in the industry. In addition to the local producers, a number of renowned machinery manufacturers were invited to participate in the conference.
Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion, the main sponsor of the event, enabled a multitude of interesting lectures to be given and contributed significantly by presenting a paper entitled Essentials for Sophisticated Blown Films. The paper highlighted important aspects of state-of-the-art blown film lines. Perfected screw configurations, film blowing die-heads optimised for volume and pressure and both user-friendly and economically efficient automation systems impressively demonstrated Reifenhäuser Kiefel’s technology leadership that is determined to a great extent by the company’s global presence and closeness to the market.
