USA-based testing equipment manufacturer, Agr International, is about to start negotiations for installations of its Process Pilot closed loop blowmoulding control software in the Middle East.
The software is a real-time process management programme which works in conjunction with a measurement system, the Agr PETWall Profiler, to automate the management of blowmoulder production. The programme continuously monitors bottle material distribution data provided by the PETWall Profiler measurement system and automatically adjusts blowmoulder settings to maintain optimal bottle distribution. According to an early user of the system: “It essentially works as a “bionic” operator. When the blowmoulder is operating under the control of the Process Pilot software, the process is managed more effectively than with our best [human] operator.”
