The official opening of a brand new Sinalco bottling unit in Jordan took place back in 2008 with a great celebration. The event was attended by many authorities from Jordan, Iraq, Syria and nearby countries. It was a great success among guests, who had the opportunity to see the stateof-the-art technology of the installed machinery in close detail.
Today, Arabian Aerated Water — the company which runs the bottling plant — is satisfied with the installation by Italy’s packaging machinery producer SMI Group. Executives at Arabian Aerated Water turned to SMI’s experience for supplying and installing an 8-cavity rotary stretchblow moulding machine (SR8 model) and a shrinkwrapper to pack PET bottles in the pad and film configuration.
